Collin Reflects on Internship

For the past six months, Phil Pelz had the privilege of having Concordia Ann Arbor Family Life student, Collin Webb, intern with him. Collin has done such an amazing job of stepping up and putting in the extra work where he sees it. He has had a knack of connecting with students and engaging them in deep and meaningful conversations. Pelz truly felt blessed to have been able to watch him grow in his abilities throughout the internship. Here’s a quick reflection from Collin on where he saw “good news” throughout his internship.

“In my particular ministry, I am lucky enough to pitch in and teach a World Religion class as an elective to middle schoolers. It is a true joy to be able to see students better understand and realize what our Savior has done for us. Each week we focus on a different religion. A handful of students will always engage in meaningful conversations to learn more about what makes Christianity unique compared to others. Having those deeper conversations about Jesus Christ is truly amazing and brings me joy when kids are thinking and talking about our Savior during class. Getting to engage in this type of classroom engagement has made a major impact on me.”
