Aulick Fund Recipients

The Aulick Fund Future Ministry Scholarship is available each year through Holy Cross Lutheran Church as Pastor Clifford Aulick was the second pastor to serve Holy Cross.  Those who were blessed by his ministry describe him as a deeply faithful and greatly gifted shepherd-leader.  We have been blessed over the years through this scholarship to help dozens of future church workers.  These students are attending a Concordia University pursuing degrees in ministry. This year, 2024, we were able to reward 4 students each with a $1200 scholarship.

“Receiving this scholarship has been an incredible blessing, allowing me to pursue my passion for education while actively serving at Holy Cross Lutheran School this year as a PE teacher. This opportunity has not only shaped my teaching skills but also deepened my connection with the community. Additionally, I have started a men's discipleship group under the current name, 'Fort Wayne Fellowship,' focusing on spiritual growth and fellowship for young adults. With the goal being to eventually minster to both young adult men and women.  Leading this group has been a rewarding experience as I witness both personal growth and the impact it has on others. I am deeply committed to serving the community and teaching, and I am truly grateful for the chance to make a difference in the lives of my students and peers.”

I am very grateful to be selected as the recipient of the Aulick Ministry Scholarship Fund. Your generous support is a true blessing, and it comes at a pivotal moment in my journey as I enter my second year in the Deaconess program at Concordia Seminary. As a deaconess, my path has always been guided by a commitment to serve and love God's people and to make a positive impact in our community. This scholarship helps me as I receive the education so that I may teach the Word of God and share His love with others. It is with a heart full of gratitude that I accept this gift, knowing that it will help me gain the knowledge and skills needed to contribute more fully to our mission of sharing the Gospel with others. Thank you for your support and encouragement in my ministry.
